There’s nowhere to go, nowhere to hide.
A haunting out of sight.
The enemy under our shoes,
On warships & peaceful pews,
A daunting reckoning cometh.
A darkness that overcomes the night.
But darkness dies by a sliver of light.
On electric screens, through fiber lines, we go live.
Together, in solitude, to survive.
Doling kindness to revive life.
Compassion to withstand this strife.
As our soldiers in masks and whites battle the suffocation attacking our lives.
The light! They are the light.
