Marigold Meet

In the heart of the Mother:

Earth and fire meet,

The hotter the flame

The softer earth seems,

The brighter it gleams,

From iron and stone to a marigold hue,

Into carnelian rivers turning black in the blue,

Turquoise oceans billowing steam,

The place where reality once met a dream.

But remember:

It only seems.

Fire is hot and earth is hard,

And lava kills all in its path.
